RESULTS FROM 1ST ROUND
The top seeds move on in the girls bracket, but 3 of 4 games resulted in upsets for the boys bracket. Outstanding games all around with tremendous spirit and talent on display.
Girls – Â League at Mauldin and Hillcrest at Northwood
Boys – Northwest at Fisher and Woodmont at Bryson
Championships will be at Mauldin High School on Saturday Feb 3. Girls play at 11, Boys tip at approximately 12:30.
Girls and Boys Basketball Brackets
Greenville middle school basketball tournament begins next week. There will be two games on Monday, January 29th at Northwood as their boys and girls swept the Northwest Region.
All other first round games are scheduled for Tuesday, January 30th. Semi-finals are scheduled for Thursday, February 1st, the Championships are planned for Saturday, February 3rd.
All tickets for each round are $5.
Remember clear bag only, High School League passes and Employee passes will be accepted.
All Region athletes will be recognized following the girls game. All Region athletes will receive free admission, parents must purchase a ticket.
